Habit AI privacy policy

Habit AI has no accounts and stores your habits on your device. Here’s exactly what is shared with our AI provider and our analytics, error monitoring, push notification and subscription services — and why.

This Privacy Policy explains how Habit AI: Daily Tracker (“Habit AI” or “the App”) handles information. The App is developed and published by Teqergy, an independent app studio based in Türkiye (“Teqergy”, “we”, “us”). Teqergy is the data controller for the personal data described below. The same policy is published at habitai.teqergy.com/privacy.

The short version: Habit AI has no accounts. Your habits, check-ins and test results are stored on your device. When you use AI features, the data needed for the request is processed by a trusted third-party AI provider through our secure server. We use an analytics service for product analytics, an error monitoring service for crash reports and diagnostics, a push notification service for push notifications if you allow them, and a subscription management service for subscriptions. We show no ads and never sell your data.

1. Information stored on your device

Your habits, routines, check-ins, streaks, statistics, reminders, settings and the answers and results of self-discovery tests are stored in a database on your device. We do not receive this data unless it is part of an AI request (see below). If you export a backup file, it is saved wherever you choose. If you use iCloud or device backups, Apple stores that data in your own account under Apple’s Privacy Policy, and we cannot access it.

2. AI features

When you ask Habit AI to analyze your habits or recommend new ones, the request is processed by a trusted third-party AI provider through our secure server. Only aggregated habit statistics and the goals you select are sent — never your name or contact details. This data is not used by us to train AI models; requests are rate-limited and are not stored on our server. AI output can be inaccurate and is not medical or psychological advice.

3. Analytics and crash reports

We use an analytics service to understand how features are used (for example which screens are opened and which features are used). This service receives device and app information and a random pseudonymous identifier.

We use an error monitoring service to receive crash and error reports and diagnostics so we can find and fix problems. When an error occurs, this service may receive a screenshot of the app screen at the moment of the error, so it may show whatever was on screen at that time (for example your habits or check-ins). It also receives device and app information (such as device model, OS version and app version), the app events leading up to the error, and a random pseudonymous identifier.

We do not use these tools for advertising and do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

4. Notifications

Reminders you set are scheduled on your device. If you allow push notifications, we use a push notification service to deliver them; this service receives a push token and basic device information. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings › Notifications.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

Premium subscriptions and free trials are sold and billed by Apple. We never receive your payment details. We use a subscription management service to check which purchases are active so the App can unlock Premium; this service receives purchase receipts and an app-specific purchaser ID.

6. Service providers

Third-party AI provider via our secure server (AI processing for coaching and recommendations: aggregated habit statistics and the goals you select; no name or contact details) · Analytics service (product analytics) · Error monitoring service (crash and error reports and diagnostics, including a screenshot of the app screen when an error occurs) · Push notification service (push notifications) · Subscription management service (subscriptions) · Apple (App Store purchases). Each receives only the data needed for its purpose. Some of these providers are located outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area, including in the United States; where data is transferred internationally we rely on the safeguards available under applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses or your explicit consent where KVKK requires it.

7. Legal bases and sharing

We process personal data to provide the App and the features you ask for, on the basis of our legitimate interests (keeping the App stable and understanding which features are used), and with your consent where required (for example notifications). We do not sell your personal data or share it with data brokers.

8. How long we keep data

Data on your device stays there until you delete it or the App. We don’t keep copies of your habits. AI requests are not stored on our server; the AI provider processes them to generate a response and may keep them only briefly under its own terms (for example, for abuse monitoring) before deleting them. Analytics and crash data, including any error screenshots, are kept for a limited period and then deleted or aggregated.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent, under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK, Article 11) and, where it applies, the EU/UK GDPR. Because Habit AI has no accounts, we usually can’t link analytics or crash data to you by name, but we will do our best to find and delete related data on request. You may also complain to your data-protection authority — in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).

10. Children

Habit AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the higher minimum age in your country).

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how the App handles information, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above before the change takes effect.
